Worth knowing

How does annual billing work?

Pick monthly or yearly with the toggle above. Yearly is billed once a year at ten times the monthly price — two months free. Pro is $10/month or $100/year; Team is $30/seat/month or $300/seat/year. You can switch billing period anytime from your billing page.

What counts as storage?

All content pushed to Oak — source files, large binaries, model weights. Each organization gets its own pool: 10 GB free, 100 GB on Pro, and 100 GB per seat on Team (pooled across the org, so five seats share 500 GB). Need more? Just reach out.

Is there a limit on branches?

On Free, a repository can have up to three open branches at a time. Merging or closing a branch frees a slot, so you can branch per session indefinitely — you just keep things tidy as you go. Pro and Team remove the cap entirely: open as many branches as your agents need. Only open branches count; merged and closed ones never do.

How does bandwidth work?

Pushing is always free — we never charge you to give us your data, no matter how many agents are committing. Egress (clones, pulls, mount reads) comes with a monthly allowance: enough to never think about on Free and Pro, and 100 GB per seat per month pooled on Team. Lazy mounts only materialize the files a session actually touches, so a big monorepo doesn’t cost a full clone’s bandwidth every time an agent spins up. These are soft limits today — nothing blocks mid-push; we’ll reach out if your usage is far outside the allowance.

How do CI minutes work?

Oak CI runs your workflows on hosted runners (4 vCPU, 12 GB RAM). Every run’s wall-clock time, rounded up to the minute, counts toward your monthly allowance: 2,000 minutes on Free, 3,000 on Pro, and 3,000 per seat pooled on Team. Like bandwidth, these are soft limits today — a run never fails because you crossed the allowance; we’ll reach out if your usage is far outside it. Each plan also sets how many runs execute at once (3 on Free, 5 on Pro, 15 on Team) — extra runs queue and start automatically as slots free up, GitHub-Actions-style — and how long a single run may take (1 hour on Free, 2 on Pro, 6 on Team) before it’s stopped as timed out.

Do I get shared orgs?

Yes. Anyone can create shared organizations for free — up to ten of them, each with up to two members. Pro is the plan for your personal account; to bring a team into a shared org you put it on Team, which is billed per seat (one seat per member). Team also adds role-based access (owner, admin, member), per-repository access control, and a lightweight audit log. Enterprise extends the audit log (configurable retention, SIEM export, tamper-evidence) and adds SSO/SAML, SCIM, IP allow-lists, and an SLA.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage or cancel from your billing page whenever you like — you keep access through the end of the period.

Can I export my data?

Yes — oak export <dest> replays your Oak history into a standard git repo at any time. No lock-in. See the docs for details.

Does Oak use my code for AI?

No. Oak doesn't train on your code and makes no AI calls on your behalf. Bring any coding agent — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — Oak is just the VCS they push to. Whatever agent you bring is its own integration.
